Fredrick Vincent “Vince” Schaber

Schaber, Fredrick "Vince", of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, died on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the age of 50. Dearest husband of Robyn Schaber (nee: Haintl); dear son of Fredrick Schaber and Phyllis June Schaber (nee: Schulte); devoted father of Michele (Paul) Hepner, Troy (Samantha) Schaber and Carly Schaber; dear step-father of Chris (Amy) Eickelmann and Brittany (Charles) Dow; beloved grandfather "V-Pa" of Trenten, Jakob, Evan, Easton and Ava; dear brother of Michelle (Herb) Tinger, Cheryl Gerdes and Sheila Chittenden. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Vince was a man with a kind heart. Putting others first, he cherished his family and friends including his dog, Shilo. He was a wonderful husband, an amazing father, and an exceptional "V-Pa." An Honored Veteran, a world traveler, an entrepreneur, and a lover of food and wine, Vince was passionate about living life to the fullest while possessing the qualities of an admirable man. He could brighten a room with the light of his smile and the warmth of his heart. His zest for life will always be remembered. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to a College Fund for Carly Schaber c/o Julie Fischer.
