Frieda Bender, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, died on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the age of 88. Dear daughter of the late Lewis P. and Beatrice Smith; devoted mother of Patricia Church and Elaine (Derek) Farquharson; cherished grandmother of Ryan A. Church; and dear sister of Patricia Cheek, the late Lewis P. Smith, Jr., and the late June Fischer.
Frieda was a seamstress for many years, but most of all she enjoyed gardening and cooking. She dearly loved every member of her family, but cherished her daughters and her grandson, Ryan. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Every person that met her saw a person full of joy and kindness.
