Frieda Pauline Thiele

Frieda Pauline Thiele (Intravia), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of 39 years to the late Robert B. “Buck” Thiele; cherished daughter of the late Mike and Serafina Intravia; devoted mother of Nancy (Tom) Doyle, Roberta (Paul) Ashton, Bob (Carol) Thiele, and Mark Thiele; loving grandmother of Erin, Matt, Kristen, Dustin, Ashley, Trevor, and Tiffany; precious great grandmother of Emma, Ryan, Sophia, Hannah, Korah, and Naiah; dear sister of Agnes "Babe" Intravia. Frieda was loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Frieda was preceded in death by her two brothers, Mike Intravia and Flick Intravia, three sisters, Jo Davis, Polly Damico, and Rose Herminghaus, and two grandchildren, Danielle and Andrew.

Frieda and Buck shared a loving marriage spanning 39 years, during which she wholeheartedly dedicated herself to her family and cherished the adventures of global travel. Her heart held a special place for Colorado and Florida, where she found solace and joy, and she took pleasure in the simple pleasures of reading and word searches. Frieda's profound love was a gift to all who crossed her path, and her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
