Gary Wayne Bibb, of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, walked into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at the age of 75. Loving husband of 57 years to Carol Bibb; beloved son of the late Wanda and Jewel Bibb; devoted father of Tammy Camenzind and Kimberly (Larry) Marrs; cherished grandfather of Kyle Camenzind (Heather Meyer), Cody Camenzind (Nora Muehlbauer), Katie Marrs, Jonathan Marrs, Chloe Camenzind, and the late Bret Camenzind; treasured great-grandfather of Abel Camenzind, Daxtin Camenzind, and Carter Muehlbauer; dear brother of Mark (Ruth) Bibb, the late James (Sally) Bibb and the late Larry Bibb.
Walking home with her teddy bear, and tears after a teenage break-up, down the road came this handsome young man wearing a white t-shirt and black jeans with the smell of English Leather. The tears turned into joy and a love that would last the next 57 years. Gary was a very faithful and committed husband, and he loved Carol with his whole heart.
Gary was a man of faith, who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren with an unconditional love; he knew what real love was (John 3:16). He loved the Lord, and old cars and guitars. He came to know Jesus as his savior early in life, and he knew he could always turn to the Lord in good times and better times. He knew God is always faithful and He will never leave you or forsake you. Gary trusted in the Lord with all his heart, and he leaned on Him for understanding and wisdom.
Family was very important to Gary, and he would travel to the ends of the earth to be with them. He was always involved in his family members' activities and supported them with everything. His love and encouragement made them feel like they could do anything, and he was so proud of all they accomplished in their lives.
Gary retired after more than 40 years with National Vendors as a supervisor. Throughout his years, he played guitar in various bands and with many artists. In his younger years, he even got to jam with artists such as B.B. King! He also backed up his daughter and father in fiddle playing contests. He always looked forward to the music gatherings with his parents and brothers, as the Bibb Family Band. Gary had charisma when he stepped on stage and everyone loved to hear him sing, especially Elvis songs. He always ended his shows with the American Trilogy, to honor our nations veterans.
Gary will be remembered for his cowboy boots, English Leather, and cool charm. His loving and protective nature of his family and friends will remain in our hearts forever. He could captivate an audience with his wonderful smile, handsome looks, and witty nature. Gary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in honor of Gary's funeral services.
