Gary McCollum

Gary Duane McCollum of Saint Ann, MO, passed away at the age of 63 on Friday, March 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Virginia McCollum; and his siblings, Diane Bryant and Ward McCollum.

Gary is survived by his children, Amanda (Steven) Keim, Keith McCollum, and Alexis (Anthony Girard) McCollum; his grandchildren, Piper Keim, Rylee Keim, Mason Keim, Madison Thompson, Bryson Girard, and Logan Girard; his siblings, James "Buddy" McCollum, Mark (Lori) McCollum, and Brenda (Dennis) Rodgers; and he was an uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Gary had a meticulous work ethic and was the proud definition of a workaholic, always willing to do anything for others and to lend a helping hand. His kind heart and giving spirit left a lasting impression on the people whose lives he touched over the years. He wasn’t a father to just his children, but was like one to many and it brought him great joy to give gifts to kids and take care of them like they were his own. For fun, Gary had enjoyed playing pool, fishing, playing sports and spending time with his grandchildren who he cherished dearly. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions in Gary’s name may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
