Gary D. Ransford

Gary D. Ransford, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 30 years to Helga Ransford; cherished son of Victor Ransford and the late Verna Ransford; devoted father of Laurie McPherson, Michael Ransford, and stepfather of Brenda (Jim) Weinand, and Kenny (Theresa) Biddlingmeier; dear brother of Karen (Charles-dec.) Remone; and loving grandfather of 5.

Gary, a profoundly affectionate individual, extended his love not only to people but also to animals, with a special fondness for his dog, Sugar. Having dedicated numerous years to his career at GM, he retired in 1999. In his leisure time, Gary indulged in his passion for working on old Chevy trucks. His love for exploration led him to frequent travels, with South Dakota being a particularly favored destination. Gary's warm-hearted nature endeared him to many, and his absence will be deeply felt by those fortunate enough to have known him.

Memorials may be made in Gary's name to American Cancer Society.
