Gary Robert Barfield

Gary Robert Barfield, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at the age of 77. Beloved son of the late Fred and Delores Barfield; devoted of Jaime Conrad; grandfather of Bridget Stanley; dear brother of Bruce (Nancy) Barfield, Kevin (Starla Throckmorton) Barfield, Brian (Laura) Barfield, Darren (Kathy Jo) Barfield, Barry (Joyce) Barfield, and Mary Jane Colvin; and treasured uncle of many nieces & nephews.

Gary was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He proudly served in Air Force during the Vietnam era, 1962-1966. Gary worked as an accountant at McDonnell Douglas and was an early employee of the aircraft manufacturer, General Dynamics. Gary was a fan of Formula 1 racing   and traveled to Canada and Mexico for Grand Prix. He enjoyed playing tennis, loved hunting, fishing, and camping trips with "The Brothers" to enjoy the outdoors in Montana. Gary was a very dynamic guy and was always life of the party. Gary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Gary's name to Vietnam Veterans of America.

The family will be holding private services.
