Gene Lorensen

Arnold “Gene” Lorensen, age 83, of Saint Charles, Missouri, March 9, 2018. Beloved husband of Dorothy Lorensen; cherished son of the late Harry A. and Marie Lorensen; devoted father of Valerie Lorensen and the late Susan Zumwalt; loving grandfather of Justin (Julie) Baker, Jeremy (Tonya) Baker, Joey Baker, and Amy (Reginald) Smith; treasured great-grandfather of Elijah, Myles, Madison, Olivia, Karina, and Cameron; and dear brother of Jerry Lorensen, the late Richard Lorensen, and the late Rita Lorensen. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Gene proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the St. Charles Lodge #241 AF & AM. He enjoyed drinking wine and traveling on European river cruises and to Mark Twain Lake. He was a people person and always had a smile on his face. Gene will be remembered for being a very loving and supportive family man. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
