Coy, Gene "Sonny", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Patricia Eileen Coy. Dear Son of the late George Raymond and Lawayne Coy. Devoted Father of Carrie Ann Thompson and Michael Raymond Coy; Devoted Father-in-Law of Jeannie Coy and Jeff Thompson; Cherished Grandfather of Ashlee and Adam Bias, Derrick and Matthew Coy; Dearest Brother of Annette Terrell, Ruth Merchant, David Coy and the late Lavesta Coy; Marcella Headrick; Terry Coy. Dearest Brother-in-Law to Theresa Coy, Mick Terrell, Harlem Merchant, Bill Headrick, Jim Gailus, Larry Gailus, Barb Gelber, Rose Howard, Chris Beale and Phillip Gailus. Nephew to Jama and Edward Lankford, Uncle to many lovely nieces and nephews. Good friend to our neighbors and many customers in the mobile home communities. Gene operated Gene Coy's home maintenance repair services for several years throughout St. Charles County; He especially excelled in helping the elderly and less fortunate in the mobile home communities. He thrived in giving his customers the upmost quality of work at a fair price. his strong work ethics gained him many friends and life long customers. He will be missed by many persons with whom he shared his many self taught skills.. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
