George B. Honerkamp, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved son of the late David and Ludwina Honerkamp; dear brother of Joseph Honerkamp; brother-in-law of Mary Honerkamp; and is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews and dear friends, Ruth Lamberson and Jack Swarnes. George is also preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Tylleson, Rita King and Tony Honerkamp.
George proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. During WWII he was a paratrooper. He worked for 37 years as a sheet metal worker for McDonell Douglas before enjoying retiring. George was a member of VFW Post 2866, American Legion Post 312, and a lifetime member of the NRA.
George enjoyed spending much of his time the outdoors where he loved to go fishing, hunting, and especially loved boar hunting. George liked to watch western movies and television shows. He had a special place in his heat for shows like the Perry Mason show, which brought him much joy. George loved cooking with his nieces and nephews. He especially liked the focus of his dishes to be on the meat. George was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
