George E. Lindsey

Lindsey, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Marie Lindsey (nee: McCullen); dear son of the late George and Lula Lindsey; devoted father of Kim (Byron) Gardner, Kay (Ed) Varno, Kelly (Terri) Lindsey, Kraig (Linda) Lindsey, and Karyl (Jamie) Young; cherished grandfather of Katie, Jodie, Scott, Stacy, Stefanie, Matthew, Glen, Rhiannon, James, Brenna, Kristopher, Krayton, Kaitlyn, Madyson, Makenzie, Mallorie, and great-grandfather of Ethan; dear brother of Richard (Kathy) Lindsey, Carl (Dorrie) Lindsey, Janet (Bill) Voltz, and Carol Lindsey; dear brother-in-law of Michael Sheridan and Dr. Rev. James (Christa) McCullan; dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many. George was a WWII Veteran from the Pacific Theater of Operations. Before retirement, George was a Lab Technician at McDonnell Douglas for many years. He was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church, O'Fallon and a member of the UDT SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida.
