George E. Twellmann

George E. Twellmann Sr. of Wright City, MO, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Alvera Twellmann; cherished son of the late George and Genevieve Twellmann; devoted father of George E. (Jackie) Twellman, Jr., Christine M. (Thomas) Bates, Diane E. (Emerson) Barron, Susan M. (Larry) Hull, and Mary E. (Greg) Croft; loving grandfather of 13; treasured great-grandfather of 21; and dear relative and friend to many. George is also preceded in death by his grandson Emerson Scott Barron, Jr., great-granddaughter Isla Grace Barron, and sister June (James) McMurtry.

George dedicated many years at Bryant Heating and Air Conditioning Company as a Regional Sales Manager before retiring. He was a Grand Knight of The Knights of Columbus, a former Berkeley City Councilman, and a volunteer Firefighter. In his youth he danced at the Muny in productions. He enjoyed his free moments golfing, fishing, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. George will be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
