George Edward Nolte Jr. of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away, Monday, January 29, 2018, at the age of 80. Loving husband of almost 59 years to Helen Nolte; beloved son of the late George E. Sr. and Evelyn Nolte; devoted father of Jeff (Becky) Nolte, JoAnn Nolte, Jim (Pam) Nolte, and Josh (Beth) Nolte; cherished grandfather of Lance (Karie) King, Jake Nolte, Kristen (Stephen) Leach, Nick (Cerise) Nolte, Rachel Nolte, and Meghan Nolte; treasured great grandfather of Anders and Annie; dearest brother of Bill (Nancy) Nolte and Bob Nolte; and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. George was also preceded in death by his grandson, Jason Michael Nolte, infant brothers, Brent and Michael Nolte, brother, Ronald Nolte, and sister-in-law, Pat Nolte.
George proudly served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict. He dedicated more than 36 years with Boeing as a maintenance mechanic before retiring. He loved the outdoors and spent much time hunting and fishing, especially deer hunting. Around the house, George was a wonderful woodworker, and created a variety of wood pieces throughout their home. He was often found spending his moments with his family talking, laughing, and carrying on the good times. His fun loving, bright personality will be missed. George was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
