George H. Drackert

Memorials may be made to Masses or Donor's Choice. Drackert, George, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Gloria M. Drackert (nee: Reinhold); dear son of the late Aloysius M. and Mary Edna Drackert; dear brother of Mary T. (the late Raymond) Keeven; beloved uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many. George is preceded in death by his infant sister Mary Alice Drackert, brother Frederick Drackert, and sisters Mary Alice (Lambert) Henke and Helen E. (Leroy) Aubuchon. George proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from the U.S. Postal service where he was a Maintenance Worker for 18 years. He was a member of Tettemer Club of St. Louis, First Capital Squares and Hill Toppers, Knights of Columbus St. Charles, and VFW Post 2866 St. Charles. George also loved to tell stories, watch construction, and dancing.
