George J. Burkemper

Memorials may be given to Masses Beloved husband of the late Clara Burkemper(nee Hepperman); loving father of Karen (John) Wilmes, Judy (Jim) Brugmann, Mary (John) Leffeler, Melvin (Susan), Randy (Kris), Roger (Theresa), and Rick (Jennifer) Burkemper, and Raelisa (Dean) Mayer; dear brother of Werner Burkemper, Caroline Kueper, Florence Heine, Anna Marie and Delores Holloway, and Rose Ann Henke; proud grandfather of 26, great-grandfather of 13. Preceded in death by parents, Aloys and Mary Witte Burkemper; children, Dennis and Brenda Burkemper; sister, Sara Peterson, Magdalen Hackmann; brother, Roman Burkemper. Mr. Burkemper was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Men's Sodality at the church. He was a truck driver for 20 years for O'Fallon Gas Company prior to his retirement.
