George Louis Guthrie, Jr., of O Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the age of 74. Cherished son of the late George Louis, Sr., and Adele M. Guthrie; devoted father of Kevin (Melissa) Guthrie; loving grandfather of Nick (Michelle) Guthrie, Kristin Ruhl, Greg Guthrie, Mikala Guthrie, and Breanna Guthrie; treasured great-grandfather of Lincoln Wisdom; dear brother of Jeanette Curtis; uncle of Kim (Keith) Sherman.
George proudly and honorably served in the United States Army for 4 years. He was a simple man who enjoyed sitting in his chair and watching the news, and spending time with his family. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all he loved his dog, Charcoal.
Memorials may be made in George's name to Veterans in Crisis and Humane Society.
