George W. Morris

George W. Morris, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Elizabeth Ann Morris; beloved son of the late George and Helen Morris; devoted father of Lisa Studer (Dorothy) Morris. George is also preceded in death by his sisters, Sue Winpigler and Betty Walker.

George was a veteran of the United States Air Force. His journey began in service to his country, where he learned the Russian language. Following his military service, George earned a master's degree in Russian and spent over 30 years imparting his knowledge as a patient and kind teacher at St. Louis University High School. A devoted husband and father, he also found joy in painting, tending to his garden and koi pond, and lending his melodic voice to St. Charles Presbyterian. George's legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom will be dearly missed by all who were touched by his presence.

Memorials may be made in George's name to St. Charles County Symphony or St. Charles Presbyterian Church.
