George Riester

George Riester, of O'Fallon, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the age of 66. Loving husband of Gay Riester; dear son of the late Charles and Ann Riester; devoted father of Chad (Kristine) Meyer, Cory Riester, and Stephanie Riester; cherished grandfather of Garrett, Lane, and Stephen; dear brother of Barbara Remier and Vicki Nance. George was also a loving father in-law, brother in-law, uncle, great-uncle, great-great uncle and friend to many. George was a machinist at GlaxoSmithKline from 1989-2008 before he retired and he also proudly served in the US Navy from 1967 to 1971. He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and Busch beer. Memorial may be made in George's memory to Tip Hospice, 3445 Bridgeland Dr #117 Bridgeton, Missouri 63044 or Mass cards.
