George Edward Wendt, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Charlene J. Wendt; cherished son of the late George E. Wendt, Sr. and the late Irene O. Wendt; devoted father of Michael (Candy) Wendt, Carolyn (Jerry) Schneider, Clifford Wendt, Lydia (Bob) Elkin, Linda (Rick) Feldmann, Georgia (Bruce) Ratliff and George Wendt; step-father of William Blohm; George is also survived by many grandchildren.
George proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy for over 4 years, where he also served on the USS Broadbill. He enjoyed motorcycles and doing any work around the house, yard or roof. George showed his children everything he knew how to do and loved them dearly. George was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in George's name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
