Gerald Alan “Jerry” Paule

Gerald “Jerry” Alan Paule passed away on August 17, 2015. He and his family had been living in Kennewick, Washington, since 2010. Jerry will be dearly missed by his family, many friends and co-workers.

Jerry was born to Gerald and Audrey Paule on October 18, 1961. He graduated from Francis Howell High School in St. Charles in 1980 and the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 1984. Jerry had 30 years experience in the health care industry and held many positions: hospital auditor at Laventhol & Horwath CPAs, St. Louis, 1984-1987; Controller at Metropolitan Medical Center, St. Louis, 1987-1990; Controller at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois, 1990-1999; Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, Missouri, 1999-2010; Chief Financial Officer at Kennewick General Hospital, Kennewick, Washington, 2010-2014; Chief Financial Officer, Hospital Sisters Health System, Springfield, Illinois, 2014; and Chief Financial Officer at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Indiana, 2015.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Dorothy (Douglas) Hobelmann, Carl and Lucretia (Bross) Paule; his father Gerald August Paule; and his brother-in-law Marty Downs. He is survived by his mother Audrey (Hobelmann) Paule of St. Charles, Missouri; his wife Suzanne (Branson) Paule of Kennewick, Washington; his children, David and Ashley (Paule) Baker of El Reno, Oklahoma, Chris and Aimee (Paule) Swift of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Gerald Douglas Paule, Taylor Deardorff and Garrett Deardorff of Kennewick, Washington; his four grandchildren, Diesel, Sawyer and Willow Baker, and Eliza Swift; his brothers Christopher and Debbie (Hicks) Paule of Tampa, Florida, Douglas and Lisa (Grieshaber) Paule of Augusta, Missouri, and his sister Gina (Paule) and Matt Witte of Warson Woods, Missouri.
