Gerald E. Ohlms

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Gerald "Jerry" of St. Charles, Missouri died on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Joan M. Ohlms; devoted father of Steven and Andrea Ohlms; cherished grandfather of Steven E. and Gerald T. Ohlms; beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many; preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ellen Mary Ohlms-Mahon and a brother, Tom Ohlms. Jerry was a 1959 graduate of the University of Missouri Columbia, Missouri with a degree in business administration. He was a member of the St. Charles Knights of Columbus, St. Charles American Legion Post and a lifetime member of the St. Charles Lions Club. He was the St. Charles County Auditor from 1970-1974 and Presiding Commisioner of St. Charles County, Missouri from 1986-1990. He most recently owned his own business - B&J Advertising (outdoor advertising). Jerry served in the U.S. Air Force from March 14, 1952 to March 13, 1956.
