Gerald J. Lauer

Lauer; dearest son of the late William and Arline Korman Lauer; loving father of Steven P. Lauer (Tracy), Keith W. Lauer (Regan) and Leanne M. VandeCreek (Drew); cherished grandfather of Meaghan and Jonathan Lauer; dear brother of Alice Schneider, Vera Lawrence (Larry), Sharon Gose (Jerry), Leon Lauer (Betty), the late Robert and Leo Lauer and Carol Tieman; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and cousin. Dr. Lauer was a former Monroe, New York resident. He was cofounder of E.A. Engineering in 1975 in Middletown. He received his B.S. in biology from Quincy University, Quincy, Illinois and received a Master's Degree and PhD in marine biology from the University of Washington. Dr. Lauer was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Charles, Missouri.
