Gerald “Jerry” J. Moore, Sr. of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the age of 86. Loving husband of Kathleen Moore; beloved son of the late Raymond and Lucille Moore; devoted father of Gerald J. Moore, Jr., Debora Moore, Joseph Moore, Patti (David) Cooper, and Catherine (George, III) Arter; cherished grandfather of twelve and great-grandfather of 36; dear brother of Janice (Jeff) Birch, Kay (the late Jerry) Marvin, Ronald (Donna) Moore, and Sharon (Skip) Bollinger; uncle, cousin and a friend to many. Jerry is also preceded in death by his siblings, Darlene Oberhellmann, Kenneth Moore, and Brenda Moore.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion. He was a devout member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Cottleville for over 20 years and a passed member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Jerry was a man of great faith which he instilled in his family. He touched the lives of so many people with his humble nature and kind acts, as he would do anything for others. Jerry was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Kathleen, and they spent 45 wonderful years together. They spent their time singing, square dancing and enjoying the winter months in Texas. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother who would do anything for his family.
Jerry loved spending time outdoors, whether it was gardening, fishing or camping, he liked it all. He enjoyed playing games and making everyone around him smile. Jerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Jerry's name to American Legion Post #313.
