Gerald K. Morgan, St. Charles, Missouri, February 12, 2006 at Missouri Veterans Home. Beloved husband of Edith E. (nee: Knoernschild); dear father of Dr. John (Gwen) Morgan, Dr. Timothy (Jan) Morgan and Robert (Kelli) Morgan; dear grandfather of Rebecca (Dave) Hoskins, Jocelyn (Jeff Rust), Jennifer, Haley, Matthew, Melissa, Michelle and Zane; great grandfather of Cody Rust. Dear uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and nephew. Preceded in death by parents Adalbert and Florence Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a veteran of WWII Army Air Corps (February 1943-February 1946) after which he attended Missouri University at Columbia, Missouri, graduating from business school in 1948. He married Edith Knoernschild August 14, 1949 at Christ Lutheran Church in Augusta, Missouri. He was confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa, Kansas on January 8, 1950. Mr. Morgan was also a retired agent of New York Life Insurance Company. He was a past member and president of St. Charles Underwriters and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. His body was donated to science at St. Louis University School of Medicine. There will be a Memorial Gathering at Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles, MO. Saturday Febuary 18, 2006 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. followed by a Service at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Missouri Veterans Home, 10600 Lewis and Clark Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri.
