Geraldine "Gerry" Faerber

Geraldine “Gerry” Faerber (nee Sime), of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth I. Faerber; devoted daughter of the late Herman and Grace Sime; loving mother of Diane (the late Fred) Luetkenhaus and Dennis (Cathy) Faerber; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Nick) Jamison, Jessica (Eric) Sandie, Daniel (Sarah) Geerling, Sarah Geerling, Kelly (Todd) Petry, Jennifer (John) Schultheis, and Jeff (Ashley) Luetkenhaus; precious great grandmother of 12; dear sister of Mary (the late Ken) Burton, Janice (the late Keith) Roberts, John (the late Louise) Sime, Jim (Lila) Sime, and sister-in-laws, Elaine Sime and Sandy Sime. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kermit (the late Ginger) Sime, Herman (the late Alice) Sime, Roger Sime; and sisters, Clarabelle (the late Charlie) Horner, Arlene (the late Ray) Deml. 

Gerry always put her faith and family first. A proud woman of faith, she was a member of Dardenne Presbyterian Church. Gerry loved her husband and getting to travel the world with him was something she cherished. Together, they enjoyed dancing. The couple practiced in their living room and got to be pretty talented. Her family meant everything to her. Her childhood on the family dairy farm in Wisconsin made her value her family dearly, and she was especially close to her siblings. Gerry lived for her children, grandchildren, and her great grandkids. She saw so much in her 100 years in this world. Her love for her family and for God carried her all the way through. 

Gerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made in Gerry’s name to American Cancer Society.
