Gerry Kennon

Gerry Kennon (nee: Nichols), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away June 24, 2017, at the age of 77. Loving wife of the late Edwin W. Kennon; beloved daughter of the late Dallas H. and Geneva M. Nichols; devoted mother of Edwin "Allen" (Diane) Kennon and Sandra (Paul) Worthy; cherished grandmother of Jason (DeAnn) Worthy, Danny Kennon, Justin (Marcia) Worthy, Lara Kennon, Ashley (Daniel) Sholar, and Matt Kennon; treasured great-grandmother of Aiden, Colby, Logan, Benjamin, and Lucas; dear sister of Dallas J. (Charlotte) Nichols and Imogene (Warner) Hedrick; valued confidant and trusted companion of her cousin, Mary Smith.

Gerry retired from Bussman Fuse after more than 30 years in Quality Control. She enjoyed going to the casino and traveling with her husband to Las Vegas. She also liked watching HGTV, The Big Bang Theory, and playing video poker. She was a great cook, and truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Gerry was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
