Gertrude F. “Gert” Windisch

Windisch, Gertrude F. 'Gert' (nee: Fleischer) of St. Louis, MO, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Alfons Birk and the late Joseph Windisch; cherished daughter of the late Arno and Freida Fleischer; devoted mother of Kenneth (Mary) Birk; loving grandmother of Michael (Kelly) Birk, Steve (Shelia) Birk, and Kevin (Rachel) Birk; treasured great-grandmother of Brittany Birk, Austin Birk, Allison Birk, and Alexander Birk; dear great-great-grandmother of Colton Linsman. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Henry Fleischer.
Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's at de Greeff Hospice House.
