They became parishioners at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, and attended St. Charles Borromeo in their retirement.
Jack loved his family and looked forward to family vacations every year, usually to Black River Lodge in Lesterville. He and his wife continued to travel after they retired, and they visited almost all 50 states. They also took several cruises and as well as regular trips to Florida.
Jack enjoyed gardening vegetables, which sweet potatoes were his specialty. He had a nice round of green peppers and zuccini at the end of the season as well. He loved the outdoors and hunting was his passion, especially deer. He also liked to hunt squirrel and turkey.
As an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, Jack attended many of their games and also enjoyed watching them on TV. There was never spare time for this guy, as he liked to stay busy with projects around the house to make sure everything was well taken care of for his family.
