"Brownie" Brown of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Melba L. Brown; devoted father of Cheryl Brown; dear brother of Virginia Kampmann, and brother-in-law of Joseph Kumbera, Ben and Jean Cole; beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents, George and Pearl E. Brown, 2 brothers, William L. Brown, Sr. and Clarence E. Brown, 2 sisters, Opal Mayer and Virgie Munford. Mr. Brown was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, St. Charles, Missouri; Rose Hill Polar Star Masonic Lodge #550, Creve Coeur, Missouri; Elks Lodge #690, St. Charles, Missouri; Town Councilman in St. Charles, Missouri for 12 years; a member of the Pikers Club, St. Charles, Missouri.
