Muegge, Gladys (nee: Koester) of Springfield, VA, died on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Donald Muegge; cherished daughter of the late George and Martha Koester; devoted mother of Robert Muegge and Dianne (William) Wise; loving grandmother of Austin Muegge, Benjamin Wise, Thomas Wise, and Margaret Wise.
Gladys was preceded in death by her siblings: Viola Martindell, Theresa Barker, George Koester, Jr., Beatrice Powers, and Carl Koester.
Gladys was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Springfield, VA. She enjoyed cooking, embroidery, her cats, and angels. Gladys’ greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
