Glayden E. “Smitty” Smith

Glayden E. "Smitty" Smith, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the age of 75. Loving husband of Marilyn M. Smith (NÉE: Brown), and the late Marilyn J. Smith (NÉE: Garrett); beloved son of the late Virgil and Lovey Smith; devoted father of Glayden E. "Gene" (Sharon) Smith, Jr., Greg (Dana) Smith, Darin (April) Smith; loving stepfather of Mark (Lisa) Presson and Lisa (Paul) Lucido; cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and brother of Jerra (Jim) Robinson. Glayden was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his son, David Smith; and brother, Lanny Smith.
