Glen M. King, of Lake Ozark, MO, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Carol King; cherished son of the late Irene and Glen M King, Sr. Devoted father of Glen (Aoy) King, III, Colleen (The late Michael) Morrissey, Jeffrey (Cecelia) King, Sara (David) Rosenberg; loving grandfather of Glen IV, Alexander (Crystal), Jordan, Ploy, Brenna (Bryan), Carol (Dennis) Sara (Ben), Nevin, Darby, Jeffrey Jr, (Kayli), Grace, Christian, Sophia, and Ori; treasured great-grandfather of Julia, Robert, Kailey, Emma, Jake, Luke, Tyler, Charlotte, Claire, Ruby, Kayden, and Madeline; dear brother of the late Colleen Anderson; uncle of Larry (Mary) Anderson, Sherry (Brian) Anderson, Cindy (The late Michael) Mohrmann, Maria Tatum, and the late Michael Anderson; great uncle of Heather Anderson. Glen proudly served in the United States Army. Glen was a member of Teamster Local 6. He loved sport and was a very avid Cardinal’s and Blues fan. He enjoyed softball, golf, fishing, and was very involved with sports with his children back in the day. Glen enjoyed boating on his boat, "Two Lucky Ducks." He also loved having guests over to grill and cook for. He was known as the master of the grill and also for his vegetable soup – “Grandpa's soup." Glen always had a smile on his face, and he never knew a stranger. He was always very joyful and couldn’t help but look on the positive side. Glen was very strong in the last years of his life- he was a fighter. He wasn't ever judgmental, and everyone loved and cherished him. All kids loved him - including babies. He would wiggle his ears as a special trick for the grandchildren. Glen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
