Glenda Jones

Glenda Rhea Jones (nee O'Neal), of Maryland Heights, MO, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Maynard L. Jones for 52 wonderful years; cherished daughter of the late Walter and Maxcine O'Neal. Devoted mother of Angela (Bryan) Porter and Chris (Jamie) Jones; loving Nona of Nicholas Porter, Jackson Porter, and Kiersten Simshauser; dear sister of Wayne (Betty) O’Neal, John (Mary) O’Neal, and the late Leroy O’Neal; many loving nieces and nephews.

Glenda worked at Boeing for a total of 25 years as a security receptionist. Glenda was a member of the Family Fellowship Church of God where she served in various leadership positions on the pastor’s council including Treasurer/Clerk.

In her free time, you could find her watching Mizzou football, the Hallmark channel, and spending time with her family. One of the things she loved most was watching her grandchildren grow up and support them in all their sporting events and various interests.

She is fondly remembered by her family as a generous and kind woman – with a little bit of feistiness. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Glenda's name to the American Heart Association.
