Glenn Edward Harper was born in Blue Creek, West Virginia August 25, 1938 to Ralph Waldo Harper and Gladys Vivian Melton Harper. He attended a one room school in West Virginia. In 1946 the family moved to Jackson Michigan. Glenn Graduated from East Jackson High School in 1956 and was the class Valedictorian. He attended Jackson Junior College then graduated from University of Michigan as an aeronautical engineer. He started work immediately with General Dynamics in San Diego, CA and later with McDonnel Douglas/Boeing in St. Louis, MO until retirement in 2004. He was a Technical Fellow. After retirement he had his own Consulting Business which was still active at the time of his death.
Glenn married Margaret Drew (Margie) on December 23, 1961, in San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Margaret. Surviving are his three children Debbie Rolfingsmeyer, Cheryl Cooper, Craig and wife Eileen Harper, grandchildren Jacob and wife Kristen Rolfingsmeyer, Nick and wife Corinne Harper, Justin, and Lynnsey Harper. Great grandchildren, Heidi and Tripp Rolfingsmeyer, and Lillian Olive.
Sister Donna and husband Ken Brumbaugh, nieces and nephews David Brumbaugh, Lynnea Brumbaugh, Darrin Forrest and wife Kay Lynn Brumbaugh , and great nieces and nephews.
Sister-in-law Geraldine Mulligan, Brother-in-law William and wife Anna Drew, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
His Aunt Velma Melton High who will be 100 in December 2022 and Uncle Ben Melton who was 92 in June 2022.
Glenn was an active member for many years of the Wright City Community Church of the Nazarene 521 E service Rd N Wright City MO 63390 and enjoyed traveling and working.
