Glenn Roberts

Glenn W. Roberts, Jr., age 75, of Saint James, Missouri, left this mortal life peacefully Monday morning August 23, 2010. He returned home to his Heavenly Father and many beloved family and friends. A son of the late Glenn W. Roberts, Sr. and the late Willa Vashti Hendry Roberts, Glenn was born on May 23, 1935, in Fort Myers, Florida. Glenn was married to his wife, Karen Roberts (nee: Beaver) on December 24, 1964 in Monroe City, Missouri and later sealed for all time and eternity in the Latter-Day Saint Temple in Washington D.C. Glenn entered into service of his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He was assigned as a Ski Trooper in Fairbanks, Alaska. Glenn attended University of Alaska, Purdue University, and University of Missouri. Glenn worked as a Registered Land Surveyor for many years before his retirement. He was a member of Missouri Association of Land Surveyors, was the former St. Francis County Surveyor, and founder of Mid-West Land Surveyors Inc. in Desloge, MO. Also a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Rolla Glenn is survived by his wife, Karen, his six children, Susan (Bob) Whobrey of St. Peters, MO, Lori (David) Smith of Washington D.C., Scott (Sandy) Roberts of Farmington, MN, Ryan (Jennifer) Roberts of Hattiesburg, MS , Jonathan (Anna) Roberts of Oregon, and Glenda Enterline of Fort Myers, FL. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Ashley, Paul, Kaitlin, Meagan, Kelsey, Seth, Jonah, Addison, Juddah and Zion. Cherished great-grandfather of Colby Lynn. Dear brother of James Roberts. He was a special nephew of Clyde H. Hendry.
