Gloria Aubuchon

Aubuchon, Gloria (nee Daugherty), of Florissant, MO, died on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the age of 84. Loving wife of 59 years to Roland “Buss” Aubuchon; beloved daughter of the late Leo and Emma Daugherty; devoted mother of Sheryl (Daniel) Moriarty and Terry (Theresa) Aubuchon; cherished grandmother of Daniel Aubuchon, Brian Aubuchon, Julie Moriarty, and Laura (Randy) Van Iseghem; loving step-grandmother of Christopher Moriarty, Matthew Moriarty, Brandon Whitmore, and Autumn Whitmore; dear sister of Janet Daugherty, Richard (Joan) Daugherty, Leo (JoAnn) Daugherty, Barbara Daugherty, and the late Robert “Bob” Daugherty; treasured sister-in-law of Charlotte Aubuchon and Audrey Finn.

Gloria had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was a long-time member of Florissant Presbyterian Church. She was a secretary at St. Charles Memorial Gardens for over 20 years, as well as a secretary for the St. Louis District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for over 10 years. She loved Elvis, animals and feeding the birds, but spending time with her family was her greatest joy. Gloria was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In honor of Gloria’s love of animals, Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri, or any charity dedicated to the care or conservation of animals.
