Gloria Morrell

Gloria Morrell of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morrell; her son, Robert Anthony (Kathy) Morrell; and her parents, Arthur Waelter and Mildred LeVeQue.

Gloria is survived by her children, Linda (Paul) Doyel, Richard (the late Rebecca) Morrell, Thomas (Angie) Morrell, and Donald (Karen) Morrell; eight grandchildren, Angela, Valerie, Jeffrey, Hillary, Matthew, Katie, Holly, and Amanda; thirteen great-grandchildren; special nephew, Larry (Marianne) Morrell and other nieces and nephews.

Gloria was a faithful parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville. Gloria was a talented cross-stitcher and a passionate fan of St. Louis Blues Hockey. She was proud of the spotless home she kept and everyone that walked in her door had a delicious meal made for them. The first words anyone heard from her were, “Are you hungry?” and that was her way of saying, “I love you.” Above everything, Gloria loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was always there to cheer for them at their sporting events. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorials may be made in Gloria's name to Shriners Hospital for Children.
