Gloria "Tootie" Vaughn

Gloria "Tootie" Vaughn (nee Johnson), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late William T. Vaughn; beloved daughter of the late Charles P. and Flora E. Johnson; devoted mother of Cynthia Vaughn and Jayme (Mark) Fletcher; cherished grandmother of Jayson (Erin), Joshua (Kaitie), and Tyler Vaughn, Calli (Spencer) Morris, and Ian Fletcher; treasured great-grandmother of Lena, Liam, Dean, and Kinsley Vaughn; dear sister of Charles (Shelia) Johnson; host to many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by her son, Timothy Vaughn; grandchild, Timothy Vaughn, Jr.; and seven siblings.

Gloria was an amazing baker and enjoyed playing Bunco. She loved to travel and her favorite place to visit was New York City. Gloria loved musical theater and frequently attended shows at The Muny. She loved taking care of her kids, grandkids, and extended family, and taking lots of pictures of them along the way. Gloria was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Gloria's name to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), as she is a dog-lover.
