Lundak Sr., Gordon Arthur, of Lake St. Louis, MO, died on Friday, April 11, 2008, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Beverley Audrey Lundak (nee Malone); loving father of Pamala (Donald) Rotty, Brock (Melissa) Lundak, Christina (Richard) Napoli and Gordon Lundak Jr.; special grandfather of Sarah (Nathan) Thomas, Bryan Rotty (Sondra Terry), Nicole Mellinger, Damon Mellinger, Randy Napoli, Hannah Mellinger, Brock II Lundak, Nathan Lundak, Mikala and Quinten Ramey & Aidan Lundak; special great-grandfather of Jackson Mellinger (his eye apple); beloved brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, great-uncle and friend; special friend and beloved member of the "Sunshine Boys." He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Lundak, his infant son, Brian Keith Lundak, his sisters, Lorraine Mussmann and Charlotte Lundak and his brother, John Lundak, Jr. Gordon was initiated into Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 268 on Nov 5, 1957. He was elected to the Finance Board in Dec 1965, and appointed to the Executive Board in May 1967. He was elected to the office of Vice President in Dec, 1968, and appointed President in Feb 1970. He was elected Business Manager in December, 1971 and held this position for 26 years until his retirement in 1997. He served on the General President's Sprinkler Advisory Committee and was appointed as Trustee in 1977 for the National Automatic Sprinkler Industry Pension Fund. He proudly received his Gold Card showing 50 years of service. He was dedicated and had unconditional loyalty to the members of the Local Union 268. He was devoted to his family and friends and will be sadly missed. We will keep him in our hearts forever until we meet again. This is only "Good Night" not "Good Bye."
