Grace H. Capstick
November 4, 1924 — April 11, 2020
Grace Hope Capstick (nee Symes), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of Robert G. Capstick; former wife of the late Rev. Paul Stock; cherished daughter of the late Clara and Frank Symes. Devoted stepmother of Debbie (Rick) Faulkner and Ronald (Marla) Capstick; loving grandmother of Chadwick Faulkner.
Grace retired as a nurse after working for many years at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. She enjoyed the Stock Market, watching it every day from opening bell to closing bell. She was an avid reader and loved going to the library. Grace also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. Some of her favorite times was with her neighbors at Woodmere and the times they spent swimming. Grace was an active member of Good Shepherd UCC St. Charles, Mo. Her greatest enjoyment was her church and her church family. She especially loved having card parties with her church friends. A memorial service will be held at a late date due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Grace was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
