Grace Rowley Schmucker, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the age of 78. Loving wife of Donald E. Schmucker; dear daughter of the late Herman Wood, Sr. and Helen L. Wood; devoted mother of Samuel H. (Sheryl) Rowley, Jr., Carol Sue (Jim) Burrill, Steve Paul (Brenda) Rowley, and Shari Ann Rowley; cherished grandmother of David Rowley, Katie Rowley, Chad (Vy) Moore, Michael Rowley, Kayla Rowley, Brayden Rowley, and Amanda Farley; beloved great-grandmother of Camden Moore, Layla Moore, and Teagan Moore; and dear sister of Mary Franger, Judy (Gary) Reinwald, John (Judy) Wood, Mike (Donna) Wood, Sr., Marie Wood, and Carol Sue (Bob) Gearhart; and also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband Samuel H. Rowley, Sr., and siblings Pearl Hoyt, Ruthie Evans, Herman "Buddy" Wood, Jr., and Bill Wood.
