Gregory R. Gerritzen of Defiance, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the age of 63. Born on November 16, 1955 to the late Ray A. and Jane (nee Rapp) Gerritzen. Dear husband of Pamela (nee Immekus) Gerritzen; father of Mary Beth Kettinger (Kevin) and Michael Gregory; stepfather of Tamara Dusch (JJ); grandfather of Braeden, Kendall, Jeffery, and Mira; brother of the late Brian (Anna) Gerritzen, Mary Ruth (Andy & the late Dr. William Meyer) Shumway, Michael A. (Maria) Gerritzen, and Katherine (Dan) Mauzy.
Gregory retired from Sharp Electronics after a long and successful career as a Regional Sales Manager. He had a true passion for nature and being outdoors. In addition to belonging to the National Wildlife Turkey Federation, Gregory loved dog field trials and going duck hunting. He was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan, and friends and family will always remember how Gregory had a great sense of humor with his jokes and how strong his ties were with his family.
