Greg Wies of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the age of 54. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerry Wies; and brother, Gary Wies.
Greg is survived by his mother and father, Connie and Roland Sebacher; his siblings, Daniel Wies, Brian (MaryLouise) Wies, and Theresa (Angel) Rubio; a niece and nine nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Greg was a faithful parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Greg graduated from Southwest Missouri State with his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice and was Vice President of Phi Sigma Kappa. For over 12 years, he was the Senior Director at Youth in Need and did much good for the community during his time there. Greg also enjoyed his role as a taste tester for Grandma’s Cookies.
He was passionate about sports and loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals, the St. Louis Blues, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Greg was a whiz when it came to sports trivia and amassed an impressive collection of sports memorabilia over the years. He was a stroke survivor for 9 years, 6 months, and 27 days. Above everything, Greg enjoyed spending time with his family and good friends.
