Gregg Alan Sanford passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022. He was 65.
Gregg was born on October 16, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a St. Charles High Alumni.
When Gregg was just 19 years old, he met the love of his life, Kim Rene Morton (Sanford). They would spend the next 46 years together making memories and a family. Gregg and Kim would go on to have two sons, Gregg Sanford and Blake Sanford.
Gregg became an entrepreneur at a young age when he opened Night Amusement in St. Charles, and then moving on to the hotel business in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, where he loved spending most of his free time with his family. Gregg then moved back to St. Charles and joined the family rental property and management business, where he eventually retired.
Gregg had four amazing grandchildren, Gabrial Sanford, Christian Sanford, Gage Sanford, and Aubrey Renee Sanford; they are “papas buddies." Gregg loved spending time with his grandchildren and they were his best friends. He loved making them smile.
Gregg’s passions were his family, business ventures, racing, exotic cars, the beach, and his grandkids.
In addition to Kim, Gregg, and Blake, Gregg is survived by his four grandchildren, Gabrial Sanford, Christian Sanford, Gage Sanford, and Aubrey Renee Sanford, as well as his brothers, Dave and John Sanford. He was predeceased by his mother, Sally M. Dickherber.
The funeral service will be at Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, St. Charles, MO 63301, on Monday, November 7th, 2022, at 11:30 am. A visitation before the service will begin at 9:30 am. The burial will be directly after the funeral located at St. Peter Cemetery located at 8th and McDonough Street, St. Charles, MO 63301.
The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives.
