Guido Aloisi, also known by family and friends as Butch, Boo and Unc. passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at his home in St. Charles, MO, with his partner of 35+ years, Anita Roberts at his side. He was born March 7
th, 1942, in Benld, Illinois, to Guido and Lora (Sawyer) Aloisi. Guido graduated from Benld High School and was raised and attended the Catholic Church. He entered the workforce after high school and was later drafted into the U.S. Army. After several months of service in the Army he was called home to support his family when his father passed away. Guido dedicated the rest of his life to taking care of his family and loved ones. He spent most of his career in the financial services industry doing financial planning for families. Some may know him as the manager of R.J.’s Bar and Grill that he built in Staunton with his two sons.
His surviving family includes his partner Anita Roberts of St. Charles, MO, Rick (Stephanie Aloisi of Staunton, IL, James (LeAnn) Aloisi of Edwardsville, IL; grandchildren, Tony, Adrianne, Julie and Mason. He is also survived by his siblings Shirley Thompson of Hammond, IN and Judy (Jim) Patterson of Springfield, IL. Guido will also be missed by his Boston Terrier companion Zoe. Besides his parents, Guido is preceded in death by his sister Frances Wilkinson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Guido’s name to
Siteman Cancer Center and
