In these difficult times, we have lost a remarkable man, his life was a testament to the power of God, compassion, and generosity. He was born in Shelby, Missouri and was one of twelve children born to Frank and Melissa Belzer. He served in the U.S Army for two years and was stationed in Germany. He was a Civil Engineer by trade, and had a great mind, He was valedictorian of his high school class and his college class.
He loved his church family and served as an Elder at Halls Ferry Christian Church for many years. He also was an elder at Harvester Christian Church. He was a trustee of St. Louis Christian College for over 20 years.
He loved his place at the Lake of the Ozarks. He took his grand-children on yearly "Freedom Trips" with no parents "allowed."
Harold and his wife, Cheryl were world travelers. They visited Australia, South America, China, Germany, and Greece and many other places around the world. He loved cruising with Mom.
His life revolved around his love for the Lord, and his family. He leaves behind his wife, Cheryl (Perrine) Belzer of forty-eight years, his precious children, Shelley (Tim) Mulderink, Jeff (Jamie) Belzer, Marty (Rebecca) Farris and Shelby (Joe) Ponder and his ever loving grandchildren.
