Harold “Skip” Bowden
January 27, 1946 — July 2, 2014
Harold "Skip" Bowden, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the age of 68. Loving husband of 48 years to Judy Bowden (nee: Bonnot); dear son of the late Harold and Ruth E. Bowden; devoted father of Traci Martinez, Scott (Shawn) Bowden, and Kelly (Matthew) Bender; cherished grandfather of Tanner, Austin, Jacob, Caleb, Aidan, and Chloe; and dear brother of Karen (Chester) Hinkel. Skip is also survived by other extended family and dear friends.
Skip was a Lumber Estimator in St. Charles County for many years. He was a proud Vietnam Air Force Veteran and member of the St. Charles VFW. Skip devoted many years of his life volunteering as a coach for several different youth sport organizations. He was a big Green Bay Packers fan but the biggest fan of his grandchildren at their sporting events. Skip loved his family and will be missed by them and all who knew him.
