Harold W. Burkemper

St. Charles, Missouri

Harold W. Burkemper, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Dianne M. Burkemper; beloved son of the late Felix and Clara Dean Burkemper; devoted father of Jeffrey Wayne (Marta) Burkemper and Jill Marie Taylor; cherished grandfather of Lia, Brenden, Jacob, and Ashlyn; loving uncle, cousin and friend to many. Harold is also preceded in death by his siblings, Curtis Burkemper and Janice Dreisewerd.

Harold was a prolific home builder for over 5 decades in the St. Charles County area. 

Harold was deeply committed to numerous charities and organizations, dedicating his time, energy, and resources to making a difference. He was actively involved with the Boys and Girls Club of St. Charles, Youth in Need St. Charles, United Services for Children, the Home Builders Association Charitable Foundation, and the Salvation Army, where he served as president for two consecutive years. He also supported the St. Joachim and Ann Food Pantry, Volunteers in Medicine, and St. Peter's Catholic Church. Known for his generosity and selflessness, Harold was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Harold's name to St. Peter's Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
