Harold Gene Durham

Harold Gene Durham, 77, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away January 3, 2020 at St. Joseph West Hospital, Lake St. Louis, MO.

Cherished son of the late Sylvia and Reeda Durham; beloved husband of 51 years to Lavonda Francis; devoted father of Wendy Lemke, of O’Fallon, Deanna Leahy, of Elsberry, Robert Durham, of Boise ID, and Todd Durham (Ariane), of Franklin, TN; loving grandfather of nine; treasured great-grandfather of six; dear brother of Faye (Eugene) McClung of Parma, MO, Edna (Jerry) Cato, of Overland, MO, and Linda (Leeman) Shirrell of Zalma, MO; brother-in-law to Ruby Durham of Zeeland, MI, Peggy Durham of Farmington, MO, Belinda Hanna of Tallahassee, FL; Harold is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Harold is also preceded in death by brothers Trennis Durham and Gerald Durham.

Harold proudly and honorably served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966. He retired from Schnuck’s warehouse after twenty-nine years. After retiring he loved to do volunteer work with So. Baptist Disaster Relief and Agape Ministries of Warren Co. food pantry for ten years. Harold was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in O’Fallon, MO.

Harold was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
