Wolters, Harold "Mel", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the age of 69. Loving husband of Patti Marie Wolters; dear son of the late Frank and Edith Wolters; dear brother of Sandra (Gary) Gourley, Linda (David) McFall, Larry (Janice) Wolters and Janice (Kelly) Martin; dear stepfather of Kimberly Jo (Curt) Opsahl, Carolyn Sue Mills, and Harold D. (Martha) Kenney; proud grandfather of Michael (Clarissa), Melissa (Keith), Monica (Jason), Kristina, Brian, Sumner, Dylan, Jeremy, Jason and Carrie; proud "GG" Pa of six; dear uncle of Alicia (Doug) Gourley Stone, Jennifer McFall (nee: Vickaer), Jill McFall, Kimberlea (John) Martin Copelin, Christy (Sam) Martin Arthur, Emily Wolters and Evan Wolters. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend to all who knew him. He was retired after 35 years with the F.A.A. as an Area Manager, Air Traffic Controller at St. Louis Lambert Airport International. He was a member of First Baptist Church, O'Fallon, Mo and a member of Gideon's. Melvyn is a 1956 graduate of Willard High School, Willard, Mo. He also served in the US Navy for eight years. MIZ-ZOU!
